Speakers Bios:

Dharma Dharmarajan
Retired Electric Utility Professional
Dharma is a passionate Renewable Energy advocate, a freelance Consultant, and a thought leader. His current interest is to help promote futuristic, reliable, and sustainable approaches to distributed electricity generation. He has over 40 years of experience in the Electric Utility Industry, where he was engaged in applied research, plant engineering, project management, and regulatory/legislative activities. He was employed with American Electric Power (AEP), one of the largest US electric utilities for 30 years as also with a subsidiary of GE.
His past presentational and Institutional activities included presenting papers at national and international Conferences, playing a leadership advisory role in the electric utilities’ Science & Technology Research arm, the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) & utility Regulatory Committees. He represented his company in several European and Asian country technology evaluation and best practices assessment trips with other electric utility peers. He was a US representative on the Asia Pacific Partnership’ (APP) 7-country power sector peer review group established by President G. W. Bush to audit, exchange, and develop best practices amongst member countries to help address Climate Change issues.
Currently, he is an executive committee member of the Dallas Electric Club, an ex-officio of the North Texas Renewable Energy Groups’ Executive Committee, and a life member of the International Solar Energy Society. His civic contributions include a 6-year term as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner for the city of Mesquite, Texas.

Alexander Rozenfeld
Founder & Managing Director, Climate Impact Control
With 20 years of energy and innovation experience, Alex has worked extensively internationally as an entrepreneur, angel investor, and venture capitalist for Fortune 500 companies. His main focus has been on bringing corporations and entrepreneurs together to impact one of the world’s largest challenges – sustainable and plentiful energy access. He has been investing in energy technologies since 2001, including hydrogen, fuel cells, and energy storage. Notable roles have included involvement in the earliest H2 vehicle station in California, an international energy GameChanger, and the founding member and President at Shell Technology Ventures, LLC. Mr. Rozenfeld has been an active supporter of the Texas energy entrepreneurship community as an energy co-chair of the Houston Angel Network, chair of the Energy Initiative at The Center for Houston’s Future, Advisory Board member of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and an active adviser to many Texas energy companies. His international roles include the Advisory Board to the Energy Innovation Initiative at World Economic Forum (WEF).

Angelos Angelou
Founder & Principal Executive Officer, AngelouEconomics and Founder & CEO, International Accelerator
