TiE DFW announces a New President

Dear Members:

The Board is pleased to announce Ram Viswanathan as the new President of TiE DFW. Ram has been an active member of TiE and is well known in the community for his many leadership roles and contributions. Please join us in welcoming Ram to his new position.

Ram brings many of the qualities we need in a vibrant TiE. He is a serial entrepreneur who has built a portfolio of technology businesses in the US and in India under the Nathan Research brand. Their flagship product ReMAP powers some of the largest Fortune 50 enterprises in the Retail, Telecom and Construction sectors in the areas of Workflow Automation, Customer Experience and Analytics.

Earlier, Ram spent 15+ years in Corporate America in leadership roles at various firms such as Ernst & Young and i2 Technologies, assisting and building businesses in Supply Chain processes, Ecommerce and Enterprise software. A visionary leader, he is a frequent speaker on emerging trends on these topics at conferences and universities.

Ram as most of you know has been actively involved with TiE as a member over the last several years, and has founded and run its Young Entrepreneurs Program for the last six years. He is also an advisor/investor in several startups.  Ram has a M.S in Computer Science and a B.S in EE from IIT, Roorkee, India.
