Dear All,

It’s been a busy August here at TiE Dallas. We had a productive and interesting TiE Tuesday event with Ram Shenoy from TiE Houston, held the TiE Dallas Women’s pitch competition final, and participated in the India – US partnership session with the Indian Ambassador to the US.

As most of us know Texas is a happening place right now. Just to give you an interesting piece of statistic, 114 corporations have relocated from California to Texas from Jan 2018 to June 2021- more than 4 times any other state in the country, and 41 of them were to the Dallas Fort Worth area alone. We have capital (always had), we have a business-friendly government and a very vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Capital is looking for new and exciting avenues for deployment, especially into pre-seed and seed investment opportunities.  It’s a very exciting time to be part of TiE Dallas and the growing entrepreneurial scene surrounding us.
